April through October delivers Zimbabwe's sweet spot — dry weather, comfortable temperatures, and prime game viewing as animals gather around water sources. Victoria Falls flows strongest from April to June after the rainy season, creating that wall of mist you see in photos. But here's the trade-off: July through September brings crowds and higher prices. May and October offer the best balance of good weather and fewer tourists. The rains from November to March turn the landscape green but make some roads impassable and scatter wildlife. Plus, it gets seriously hot — think 40°C (104°F) in the shade. If you're chasing the falls at their most powerful, plan for April or May.
