Triana in June
Good time to visit
June is a reasonable time to visit Triana.
All Months
March through May is Triana at its most magical. The orange trees bloom, temperatures hover around 22°C, and Holy Week processions wind through the narrow streets with an intensity you won't find anywhere else in Seville.
October and November bring perfect weather for long walks along the river and outdoor dining. The summer crowds have thinned, but restaurants and flamenco venues still keep full schedules.
Avoid July and August unless you're immune to heat. Temperatures regularly hit 40°C, and even locals retreat indoors during midday. Many of the smaller ceramic workshops close for vacation in August.
Winter (December through February) is mild but can be rainy. Some outdoor terraces close, but this is actually a great time to experience Triana's cozy indoor culture – think long lunches in traditional tabernas and intimate flamenco performances.
