June can be hit-or-miss weather-wise, but you'll find deals on accommodations and easier parking. October brings beautiful fall colors along the coast, though most seasonal restaurants close after Columbus Day. Winter here feels like a ghost town — most attractions shut down, but you'll have miles of beach to yourself if you don't mind the wind. Spring arrives late, with May still feeling chilly for beach activities.
