Serbia in June
Great time to visit
June is one of the best months to visit Serbia.
All Months
April through June gives you Serbia at its best. Temperatures hit the sweet spot around 20°C, everything's green, and outdoor kafana terraces open for the season. Plus, you'll avoid the summer crowds that descend during festival season.
September and October work just as well. The weather stays warm enough for evening strolls along the Danube, but cool enough that you won't melt walking up to Belgrade Fortress. Fall also brings harvest season - perfect timing for wine region visits.
Summer means festivals, especially EXIT in Novi Sad every July. The city transforms into one massive party, but expect higher prices and book accommodation early. Belgrade's summer scene moves to floating river clubs called splavovi - unique but sweaty.
Winter has its charms if you're into cozy kafana sessions and don't mind gray skies. December through February sees temperatures around 5°C, but indoor culture thrives. Plus, hotel prices drop by half.
Avoid March - it's muddy, unpredictable, and nothing's quite open yet. November can be dreary too, though dedicated night owls won't care.
