December through April offers perfect weather — 80-85°F days, low humidity, and almost no rain. But you'll pay peak prices and fight crowds at popular beaches. The sweet spot is late November or early May. Weather's still excellent, but hotel rates drop 30-40%. Hurricane season runs June through November, with September and October being the riskiest months. But here's the thing about Caribbean hurricanes — they're rare, and when they do hit, you get plenty of warning. Summer brings afternoon thunderstorms that clear quickly and actually cool things down. Trade winds blow year-round, keeping the humidity manageable even in summer.
