October through April gives you Roma at its best. The jacaranda trees bloom purple in March and April, turning ordinary streets into something special. December and January bring cool, crisp days perfect for long walks and outdoor café sitting. Avoid the rainy season from May through September — not because Roma becomes unlivable, but because all that outdoor café culture moves inside. Plus, the neighborhood's charm lies partly in its walkability, and daily afternoon downpours make that less appealing. Weekends see more local families out and about, while weekdays belong to the remote workers and artists who call Roma home.
