Panglao in June
Not the best time
June isn't ideal for Panglao. Consider a different month.
All Months
Panglao's dry season runs November through May, delivering the most reliable weather for beach and diving activities. December through February offers the perfect sweet spot — sunny days, minimal rain, and comfortable temperatures around 26-28°C.
March through May brings hotter weather, with temperatures climbing to 32°C, but also the calmest seas for diving. Visibility underwater peaks during these months, often exceeding 30 meters.
The wet season (June through October) doesn't mean constant rain, but afternoon thunderstorms become common. Diving conditions remain good, and accommodation rates drop significantly. Just be prepared for occasional rough seas that can cancel boat trips.
Avoid traveling during major Philippine holidays like Holy Week (March/April) and Christmas/New Year when domestic tourists flood the island and prices spike. Chinese New Year also brings crowds from January through February.
For the best balance of weather, crowds, and prices, target the shoulder months of November and May.
