March through May gives you perfect weather — warm days around 22°C without the crushing summer heat. September through November works just as well, with calm seas and comfortable temperatures for walking the hilly streets. Summer gets brutal, with July temperatures hitting 35°C and humidity from the Mediterranean making it feel worse. Winter brings rain and cooler temps around 15°C, but also fewer crowds and lower hotel prices.
