Summer (December-February) gets hot — we're talking 95°F daily — but the mountains offer escape. Winter is mild during the day but nights drop to 40°F. July is ski season at Las Leñas, two hours away. Avoid January if you hate crowds; it's peak Argentine vacation time and prices jump 30%.
