October through April — that's your window. Summer in most medinas feels like being trapped inside a pizza oven. Temperatures hit 45°C (113°F) and those narrow stone alleys offer zero breeze. Winter months bring perfect 20-25°C days. You can actually enjoy walking around instead of sprinting between air-conditioned shops. December and January see occasional rain, but it's brief and cools everything down nicely. Ramadan changes the rhythm completely. Shops close earlier, restaurants don't serve during daylight hours, but the evening energy is incredible. Streets fill with families breaking fast together. Just be respectful about eating in public during the day. Avoid major holidays like Eid unless you're into massive crowds. Hotel prices double and finding a decent meal becomes a treasure hunt.
