Malasaña in December

Spring and fall hit the sweet spot. April through June brings perfect weather for wandering the streets and sitting at outdoor terraces. September through November works just as well — warm days, cool evenings, and that back-to-school energy as locals return from summer holidays. Summer gets brutal. July and August see temperatures hit 40°C, and half the neighborhood shuts down for vacation. Winter isn't terrible, but those narrow streets turn into wind tunnels. Plus, Malasaña's outdoor culture suffers when everyone huddles inside.
