April through June offers perfect weather — mild days, cool evenings, and the countryside explodes in green. This is peak Camino season, so book accommodations early. September and October bring harvest season and some of the year's best weather. Temperatures hover around 20°C (68°F), perfect for long walks. Plus, you'll catch the grape harvest in nearby wine regions. Summer gets hot — often hitting 35°C (95°F) in July and August. But the evenings stay pleasant, and this is when the city's festivals happen. San Juan (June 24) and San Froilán (October) are the biggest celebrations. Winter is quiet but atmospheric. The cathedral looks even more dramatic against gray skies, and you'll have the city mostly to yourself. Just pack layers — temperatures can drop to freezing.
