Konkan Coast in September

October through March gives you the perfect Konkan experience - clear skies, calm seas, and temperatures that hover around 25°C. December and January are peak season, so expect higher prices and more crowds, especially around Christmas and New Year. October and November offer the best balance of good weather and reasonable prices. The landscape stays green from the recent monsoons, and the humidity finally drops. February and March heat up gradually but stay comfortable near the coast. The monsoons arrive in June and don't let up until September. This isn't tourist season - many beach shacks close, roads flood, and ferry services stop. But the monsoons transform the landscape into something magical. If you don't mind getting soaked, July and August offer a completely different Konkan experience. April and May get uncomfortably hot and humid. The sea stays rough, and most locals head to the hills.
