December through April offers the driest conditions and clearest lake views. Temperatures hover around 25-30°C with lower humidity than other months. This is peak season, so expect crowds at popular spots like Cheow Lan Lake. January and February provide the most comfortable hiking weather. March and April heat up but still offer good trail conditions. The rainy season from May to November transforms the park into a lush green paradise, but brings challenges. Trails become slippery and some may close due to flooding. But here's the upside: waterfalls run at full power and wildlife activity increases. If you don't mind getting soaked, September and October offer fewer tourists and dramatic storm displays. Early morning visits work best year-round – wildlife is most active before 9 AM and temperatures stay cooler.
