Kadriorg in May
Great time to visit
May is one of the best months to visit Kadriorg.
All Months
May through September is peak Kadriorg season, and for good reason. The palace gardens explode with color, outdoor concerts fill the park, and you can actually enjoy those seaside walks.
July gets crowded - think tour buses and long museum lines. But the White Nights Festival in June transforms the entire district into an outdoor art gallery. Street performers, classical concerts, and the sun barely sets.
September might be your sweet spot. Fewer crowds, golden autumn light, and the trees around Swan Lake turn incredible shades of red and orange. Plus, museum tickets drop to off-season prices.
Winter? Look, the palace is beautiful covered in snow, but half the outdoor attractions close. The Japanese Garden becomes inaccessible, and those romantic park walks turn into arctic expeditions. KUMU stays open year-round though, so art lovers can still get their fix.
Avoid Mondays - most museums close, leaving you with just the park to explore.
