Jeddah in September

Not the best time

September isn't ideal for Jeddah. Consider a different month.

All Months

November through March is your sweet spot. Temperatures hover around 25-28°C, perfect for exploring Al-Balad's narrow alleys or lounging by the Red Sea. December and January are peak season, so book hotels early. Ramadan changes everything. The city sleeps during the day and comes alive after sunset. Restaurants close until iftar, but the evening atmosphere is magical if you can handle the disrupted schedule. Non-Muslims can eat in hotel restaurants during daylight hours. Avoid June through September unless you enjoy walking through a blast furnace. Temperatures hit 45°C regularly, and the humidity from the Red Sea makes it feel even hotter. Even the locals flee to Taif during these months. Shoulder seasons (April-May and October) offer decent weather and fewer crowds. Hotel prices drop significantly, and you'll have the Corniche practically to yourself during morning walks.
