Jamaica in July
Not the best time
July isn't ideal for Jamaica. Consider a different month.
All Months
December through April delivers perfect weather - 80°F days, low humidity, and minimal rain. This is peak season though, so expect higher prices and crowded beaches. January and February offer the best balance of good weather and slightly lower costs. March gets busy with spring breakers. Hurricane season runs June through November with September and October being riskiest. But shoulder season (May and November) can work if you're flexible - fewer crowds, better hotel deals, and weather that's still decent most days. Reggae Sumfest happens in July in Montego Bay if music matters more than perfect weather. Christmas and New Year's bring the highest prices and biggest crowds. Temperature stays consistent year-round, but rainfall varies dramatically - Kingston gets about 30 inches annually while the Blue Mountains can see 200+ inches.
