October through April gives you the best weather, but each season offers something different. Summer (December-February) means long days, warm evenings, and harvest season at the wineries. January and February can get crowded, especially weekends. Autumn (March-April) might be the sweet spot — warm days, cooler nights, and the harvest festivals are winding down. Winter (June-August) sees many wineries reduce their hours, and some restaurants close on weekdays. But accommodation is cheaper, and you'll have places to yourself. Spring (September-November) brings blossoms to the orchards and mild weather perfect for cycling between wineries.
