July and August mean 30°C heat, crowded ferries, and hotel prices doubling. But the festa season lights up villages with fireworks and street food every weekend. December through March sees temperatures drop to 15°C with frequent rain, though accommodation costs half the summer rates. Many restaurants close from January to March, leaving limited dining options.
