Galicia in November
Good time to visit
November is a reasonable time to visit Galicia.
All Months
May through October offers the most reliable weather, though Galicia can surprise you with rain any month of the year. July and August bring the warmest temperatures and longest days, perfect for coastal exploration, but also the biggest crowds in Santiago and higher accommodation prices. June and September hit the sweet spot – warm enough for swimming, fewer tourists, and the landscape at its greenest. May can be spectacular if you don't mind occasional showers, while October offers dramatic skies and the grape harvest in wine regions. Winter brings frequent rain and shorter days, but also solitude and lower prices. The Camino season runs year-round, though winter pilgrims need serious rain gear. Spring festivals like San Juan in June light up the coastline with bonfires, while autumn harvest celebrations showcase local food and wine. Pack layers regardless of when you visit – Galician weather changes quickly, especially near the coast.
