Fundy National Park in June
Great time to visit
June is one of the best months to visit Fundy National Park.
All Months
June through October gives you the best weather and full park access. But each season has its perks.
Summer (July-August) brings warm days perfect for tide pool exploring and camping. The downside? Everyone else knows this too. Expect crowds at popular spots like Dickson Falls. Book accommodations months ahead.
September is the sweet spot. Crowds thin out, fall colors start showing, and you still get decent weather for hiking. The bugs disappear, making forest trails more pleasant. Plus, September tides are often the year's highest.
October offers spectacular fall foliage, especially along the Coastal Trail where red maples frame those red cliffs. But weather gets unpredictable. Pack extra layers and check trail conditions – some close early for the season.
Winter transforms the park into a cross-country skiing destination. The Dickson Falls Trail stays open, and frozen waterfalls create ice climbing opportunities. But most facilities close November through April.
