Florida in November
Great time to visit
November is one of the best months to visit Florida.
All Months
November through April delivers perfect weather — highs in the 70s and 80s, low humidity, minimal rain. But you'll pay premium prices and fight crowds. December and March are peak months. Hotel rates double, beaches pack, and restaurant reservations become impossible. May and October offer sweet spots — still warm enough for swimming, but crowds thin and prices drop 30-40%. Summer means daily thunderstorms, crushing humidity, and hurricane season (June through November). But theme park lines shrink, hotel deals abound, and locals reclaim their beaches. Hurricane season peaks in August and September. Most storms miss Florida, but when they don't, the damage can be severe. Winter brings occasional cold fronts that drop temperatures into the 40s and 50s — not swimming weather. Spring break (March-April) turns certain areas into chaos. Avoid Daytona Beach, Panama City Beach, and South Beach unless you're joining the party.
