This is peak season, so expect higher prices and advance bookings. November through April gets wetter and more humid, but also fewer crowds and better deals. Cyclone season runs December to April, though direct hits are rare. The shoulder months of May and October offer the best balance of good weather and reasonable prices. Trade winds keep things comfortable year-round, but they can make boat transfers choppy during windy spells.
