Dead Sea in July
Not the best time
July isn't ideal for Dead Sea. Consider a different month.
All Months
March through May and October through November offer the perfect weather window. Temperatures hover around 75-85°F with low humidity and gentle breezes. Summer months (June through September) bring brutal heat — we're talking 100-110°F with no shade on the beaches. Winter can be surprisingly cool, with January temperatures dropping to the 60s and occasional rain. The water temperature stays relatively constant year-round at about 70-75°F. Early morning visits (8-10 AM) work best during hot months, while afternoon sessions are pleasant during cooler seasons. Avoid weekends if possible — Israeli beaches get packed with domestic tourists, especially during Jewish holidays.
