Corsica in April

May through October offers the best weather, but each month has its personality. May and June bring wildflowers in the maquis, perfect hiking weather, and empty beaches - plus restaurant prices haven't hit peak season yet. July and August mean guaranteed sunshine and warm swimming, but also crowds, higher prices, and that distinctive French vacation energy when entire families decamp to the coast. September might be perfect: the sea is still warm from summer, crowds thin out after French schools restart, and you get that golden light photographers love. October extends the season with mild days perfect for hiking, though some coastal restaurants start closing. The interior stays beautiful year-round - snow caps the mountains in winter, creating an almost Alpine atmosphere that few visitors ever see.
