July and August bring peak season energy with water temperatures reaching 25°C, but also the highest prices and busiest beaches. Book accommodations well in advance for summer visits. September might be Corfu's sweet spot — still warm enough for swimming (22°C water) but with fewer crowds and lower prices. October extends the season with pleasant 20°C days perfect for sightseeing, though some restaurants and hotels begin closing toward month's end. The shoulder seasons also offer better deals on car rentals and ferry tickets. Winter brings rain and many closures, though Corfu Town maintains its charm year-round.
