April through September is your sweet spot. The dry season means clear skies, manageable temperatures, and rivers low enough to reveal those famous blue pools. July and August are peak season – expect crowds at popular spots and higher accommodation prices. But the weather is perfect: warm days around 25°C and cool nights that actually require a blanket. April and May offer a nice compromise – fewer tourists but still great conditions. The wet season from October to March brings daily downpours that can flood trails and make river crossings dangerous. Some tour operators shut down completely during these months. However, if you can handle the rain, the landscape explodes with wildflowers and waterfalls run at full force. Just be prepared for muddy conditions and potential trail closures.
