Avoid October through January when central Vietnam gets hammered by typhoons and flooding. The weather turns nasty fast. June through September brings serious heat and humidity — we're talking 95°F with 80% humidity. But hotel prices drop by half and you'll have beaches mostly to yourself. If you can handle the heat, it's worth considering. Just pack light, breathable clothes and embrace the afternoon siesta culture.
