Why It Matters
One of the only places in Frankfurt where you sleep inside a listed Gothic-Renaissance villa. The nine Signature Suites are each uniquely designed around a named cultural figure. The Florentin is the 2025 resurrection of a storied Frankfurt address. The 1901 Villa Speyer — built for the distinguished Speyer banking family, later operated as the Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy until its closure in 2022 — reopened on December 1, 2025 under Althoff Collection's ownership. The name itself refers to the hotel's centerpiece: a lush, light-filled inner courtyard from which the entire property radiates. Althoff kept all nine of the villa's original suites and grafted on contemporary wings, resulting in 147 rooms total that mix heritage stonework and stucco with clean oak, marble, and travertine.

Signature Suite – The Philosopher
One of nine individually designed Signature Suites in the historic 1901 villa. Each suite is themed around a cultural figure who shaped Frankfurt. All share floor-to-ceiling windows, separate living and sleeping areas connected by a corridor, a hologram fireplace in select suites, two washbasins, walk-in rain shower, separate bathtub, and bidet WC. Butler service and access to the private wine lounge and salons are included.
Signature Suite – The Tea Master
Individually designed villa suite themed around the art of the tea master. Same premium appointments as all Signature Suites — butler service, wine lounge access, hologram fireplace in select rooms, walk-in rain shower and freestanding bathtub.
