Iuta Farm
Rustic-luxe eco-glamping. Think safari lodge meets Sicilian masseria: warm earth tones, handmade furniture combining oxidized iron and wood, Zenology eco-toiletries, and the sound of birdsong instead of a wake-up call. Bohemian without being precious.
Book dinner in Noto in advance on the same day — on-site evening meals are limited and the best Noto restaurants fill up fast in summer.
Why It Matters
One of Italy's most lauded glamping properties and a Michelin Guide selection — featured in Condé Nast Traveller, Elle Decor, and Soho House journal. It's a rare property that's genuinely eco-sustainable (no chemical products used on the land) while delivering real luxury: private plunge pools, memory-foam beds, and cocktails by the saltwater pool at sunset. The all-vegetarian kitchen using farm-grown produce is a draw in itself.
Iuta Farm sits on 13 hectares of ancient olive, lemon, orange, almond, and carob groves just 2 km from the UNESCO Baroque city of Noto. Founded in 2017 by Venetian couple Elena and Giulio, it's a working organic farm converted into a small-scale glamping retreat with four masseria suites and five freestanding eco-lodges. Natural textures run throughout — cocciopesto floors, lime plaster walls, weathered wood, linen — paired with a Soho House-ish minimalism that feels genuinely earned rather than decorator-installed.
