ZOA calls itself a 'hotel secreto,' and the name fits. Eight thatched-roof bungalows perched on a hillside between Playa Mazunte and San Agustinillo, far enough above the coast to feel genuinely private but close enough that you can hear the Pacific from your bed. The elevation gives it far-ranging ocean views, and the property itself keeps a deliberately small footprint — onsite vegetable garden, biodegradable bath products made on-site, zero overcrowding. The most compact room at ZOA, and the one to book for two friends or a pair traveling together who don't need a king. Two full-size beds plus a spacious ocean-view terrace with seating. A twin bed can be added for a 3rd guest (additional cost). Pet-friendly.

The top pick at ZOA and the most requested room on the property. A semi-circular terrace and private plunge pool sit right on the cliff's edge — you're essentially looking at nothing but Pacific Ocean. King-size bed, indoor and outdoor seating areas, complete privacy. No pets allowed in this one.
KingJunior Suite
Spacious and breezy, with a private terrace, ocean view, and both indoor and outdoor lounging areas. A great shaded spot for reading or breakfast surrounded by greenery. King-size bed (single bed added for a 3rd guest, at additional cost). Pet-friendly.

Cabaña 5, the most panoramic room on the property. Sits at the top of the land on the second floor, with ocean views on one side and green mountain landscape on the other.
