A timber-and-stone chalet sitting 300 meters from the gates of Bran Castle, Zara Chalet opened in December 2019 as the most design-forward small property in town. Wood carvings, handwoven placemats, monogrammed linens, and warm amber lighting fill the eight rooms and one suite — all of it modern, but rooted in Romanian mountain tradition. The castle silhouette is visible from several rooms and balconies, which is either atmospheric or a bit gimmicky depending on your tolerance for Transylvanian mystique.

Deluxe Double Room with Garden View
Same spec as the castle-view room but overlooks the lush garden rather than the castle. Quieter orientation. Ideal if you're less fussed about the view and just want the full chalet experience: carved wood details, warm textiles, soundproofed comfort.
