Why It Matters
The largest Locke property in the world, and the first in the brand to have a true destination wellness and F&B offer under one roof. Was home to Mural Farmhouse (Michelin star + Green Star, awarded 2023), though that restaurant closed in May 2025. The architectural conversion of a former Siemens office building is genuinely impressive — and the rooftop penthouse with Alpine views and private jacuzzi is hard to find anywhere in Munich at this price point.
WunderLocke is Locke's biggest property — 360 apartments across seven floors of a converted former Siemens office building in Sendling, Munich's quieter southwestern corner. It works like a neighbourhood more than a hotel: heated outdoor pool, a dedicated yoga studio, coworking space, gym, sauna, and a proper bar, all under one roof. Design by Holloway Li (the same studio behind Bermonds Locke in London), with natural materials, earthy tones and lush greenery running throughout — think biophilic meets brutalist industrial shell.

Four more square metres makes a real difference. At 20m², this works fine for two people on a short stay. Still has the full kitchen, still has the Locke design sensibility. Just a bit more room to breathe.

The bread-and-butter room at WunderLocke, and genuinely comfortable. Around 28m² with a proper open-plan layout, full kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, a decent-sized EU double bed, and most have the signature Locke sofa. Works well for both short and extended stays.

Very hard to find anything comparable in Munich at this price level.
