The Widder Bar holds the #1 ranking in the DACH region on the Top 500 Bars list and pours over 650 whiskies. The Widder Restaurant holds 2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points under chef Stefan Heilemann. The building itself sits on Roman and Celtic ruins — a fireplace from 2,000 years ago was uncovered during renovations.
Nine medieval townhouses — the oldest dating to the 13th century — were painstakingly stitched together by architect Tilla Theus over more than a decade to create one hotel. The result is 49 rooms where stone walls and carved wooden beams sit alongside Eames chairs, Corbusier chaises, and original works by Rauschenberg and Warhol. And it just happens to also contain one of Zurich's best bars and a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant.

A 250 m² three-bedroom townhouse designed in collaboration with global lifestyle brand Monocle. Large private outdoor terrace. Furnished with pieces from USM, Seitz, Moebe, and Olaio, plus hand-picked vintage finds and photographic prints from Monocle's archive. Sleeps up to 6. Functions as a fully private apartment with hotel services including concierge, daily housekeeping, and access to the Widder gym. Has its own fully equipped kitchen.
250 sqmPenthouse Suite with Rooftop Terrasse
84 m² inside plus an 80 m² private rooftop terrace. An artwork by Robert Rauschenberg was created specifically for this suite. Complimentary airport transfers included. Full minibar complimentary. The view over Zurich's Old Town rooftops from the terrace is the real draw.
