Vora
Minimalist Cycladic-Nordic hybrid. Dark volcanic rock and charred finishes against white limewash curves. Custom furniture, Zirini ceramics, Piet Boon fixtures, black Vasaltis marble bathtubs. Pared back, not sterile — it feels like a sophisticated cave.
Book Villa Alpha for the best sunset positioning — it faces directly west toward the volcano
Why It Matters
Won Best Resort at the AHEAD Europe Awards ('small but perfectly formed,' per the judges). Built entirely by hand over four years — machinery couldn't access the site. Only three villas, adults-only, zero shared spaces. One of the most architecturally distinct properties in the Greek islands.
Three cave villas hand-carved into an Imerovigli clifftop, sitting directly above the Santorini caldera. K-Studio (Athens) designed the whole thing — sharp volcanic-rock channels slicing down from reception to three fully self-contained retreats, each with its own kitchen, king bed, and an infinity spa tub cantilevered over hundreds of feet of open air. It barely qualifies as a hotel. That's the point.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Private candlelit dinner on your villa terrace overlooking the caldera, prepared by the Executive Chef with Sommelier wine pairings. The signature romantic experience at Vora.
The hotel can arrange vehicle hire or a private chauffeur for island exploration. ATV/buggy hire is a popular option for navigating Santorini's narrow roads.
Helicopter rides around the island can be arranged through the concierge for an aerial view of the caldera and the island.
Concierge arranges private day trips by yacht around Santorini and the surrounding Cyclades islands. On-demand booking through the direct concierge line.
Dedicated team assists with anniversary setups, honeymoon packages, marriage proposals, birthday celebrations, and wedding arrangements — all personalized and coordinated around the caldera backdrop.
Concierge curates bespoke island excursions — private guides, off-the-tourist-track locations, wine tastings at local vineyards, and access to spots owner Yannis Bellonias grew up exploring.
