A 1903 Belle Époque villa sitting directly on the Arcachon Bay shore, about 30 minutes west of Bordeaux. Villa La Tosca runs five proper guest rooms for individuals, plus three more available only when the whole property is privatized — total capacity of fifteen beds. The interiors are a genuine cabinet of curiosities: Asian antiques, original frescoes, period fireplaces, handmade TRECA mattresses dressed in Egyptian cotton. No formal restaurant, but private chefs — one of whom holds a Michelin star — will cook for you on request, from local seafood to a full dinner on the veranda.

The flagship suite, sitting on the first floor with an exceptional view over the ocean, the park, and the pool. French bay windows dressed in luxury silk curtains open onto a vaulted loggia. Ground floor room that connects directly to the garden and the beach — the easiest morning walk to the water. Queen-size bed with electric slat base. Designed for accessibility, with wheelchair access. You're surrounded by the landscape rather than elevated above it.

A duplex suite perched at roughly 15 metres above the ground — the highest point of the villa — with a full 360° panorama taking in the Arcachon basin, the Taussat forest, and the villa's grounds. The view speaks for itself. Around 40 sqm.

First-floor room with a large vaulted loggia and private terrace that frames one of the best sunset views in the house — Arcachon town and Cap Ferret both visible on clear evenings. Beds can be configured as a king or two singles, which makes it the most flexible room for different travel arrangements.

The most romantic room in the house — a former attic on the second floor, converted into a loft with the original pine parquet intact. A skylight sits directly above the kingsize bed: fall asleep under the stars. Soft, velvety fabrics and wooden furniture make it feel warm rather than spare. The pebble-floor bathroom leans into the nature theme. Small, but considered.
