Vila Pavlina opened in 2023 and skips the standard hotel format entirely. All 12 apartments are named after nearby mountains and valleys — Prisank, Martuljek, Tamar, Vitranc and so on — and each is decked out with hand-picked artworks, museum pieces, wooden sculptures, and fabrics sourced from prestigious European mills. The building itself is clad in larch wood and Luserna stone, a 17th-century Alpine building material that gives the place a grounded, serious quality that you don't often find in ski resort accommodations. No restaurant on-site, but the ski slopes are literally out the front door.

A network of cross-country running and ski tracks runs near the villa. Planica Nordic Centre is 7.5 km away.
The ski slopes of the Kranjska Gora resort start 49 metres from the building. Step out the door and ski in or out directly. The property arranges ski pass orders to save you queue time.
An extensive network of cycling and mountain biking paths runs through Kranjska Gora. The Kranjska Gora Bike Park is a 5-minute drive.
Kranjska Gora is surrounded by hiking trails leading into the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park (2.2 km). Tamar Valley and Krnica Valley are both accessible on foot or by car.
