Under Canvas Lake Powell – Grand Staircase is the world's first DarkSky-certified resort, sitting on 220 acres of canyon rim plateau in Big Water, Utah. Fifty safari-inspired canvas tents on elevated decks are furnished by West Elm — think king beds, private ensuite bathrooms, wood-burning stoves, and private decks with views straight out to Lake Powell and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. No WiFi. That's intentional.

The entry-level tent, but don't let that fool you. King bed with luxe linens, private ensuite bathroom with pull-chain hot shower, sink and flushing toilet, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, and a private deck with lounge chairs. Sleeps 2 adults, with a camp cot available for one child at extra charge.
KingDeluxe with Kids Tent
All the amenities of the Deluxe tent plus a private adjacent kids tent with two twin beds. The two structures are separate but connected — kids are close but you still have your own space. Best family option if you don't need the Suite's sofa bed. Sleeps 2 adults + 2 kids.
King (main) + 2 Twin (kids)Stargazer Tent
The signature tent. Everything in the Deluxe, plus a panoramic viewing window built into the roof directly above the king bed — you literally stargaze from bed. Designed for couples who are here specifically for the DarkSky experience. Private ensuite, wood-burning stove, private deck. Sleeps 2.

The Stargazer experience with a private adjacent kids tent. Families get the stargazing window above the main king bed, plus a separate tent for two kids with twin beds. Sleeps 2 adults + 2 kids.
