Why It Matters
Formerly the Mondrian Los Angeles, which opened in 1996 and defined the Sunset Strip's cool-hotel era. The property underwent a major redesign in 2018 and relaunched as The Valorian in April 2026 under Hilton's Curio Collection, operated by Pivot/Davidson Hospitality Group. White Rabbit Sky Lounge replaces the legendary Skybar. Casa Madera remains one of the most talked-about hotel restaurants in WeHo.
The Valorian is the Mondrian Los Angeles reborn — same address, same 12-story perch above Sunset Strip, but with a new name and a fresh identity under Hilton's Curio Collection since April 2026. Rooms are crisp white with pops of blue, floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the Hollywood Hills and the DTLA skyline, and even the smallest Standard King comes with a proper living space. The rooftop pool and White Rabbit Sky Lounge (the old Skybar, essentially) is the reason half of West Hollywood shows up on weekends.

The top of the stack. 1,625 sq ft of surrealist design — cloudlike artwork, creative lighting, and unique silhouettes throughout. Up to three additional bedrooms can be reserved directly with the hotel for larger groups.

Separate bedroom and living space, complete with dining area and oversized daybed. Ensuite bathroom has both shower and tub. Sweeping floor-to-ceiling views of Los Angeles. The whimsical design makes this one of the more distinctive suite options in WeHo.

Modern, sculptural, and spacious. Bamboo floors, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious seating area with an oversized daybed, wet bar, and desk. ADA accessible option available.
KingKing Skyview Loft with Balcony
One of the largest rooms on offer. The large terrace has plush outdoor lounge furnishings and epic city views. Inside, cloudlike paintings over the bed create an ethereal feel, and multiple chandeliers hang over the dining area. 1.5 bathrooms. Can be booked for private events.

Sustainable bamboo floors set the tone. The king faces a seating area with an elevated oversized daybed and dramatic arched lighting. Swivel chair and poof for movie nights. Panoramic LA views through floor-to-ceiling windows. ADA accessible option available.

Oversized daybed, floor-to-ceiling windows, and your own private furnished balcony for drinking in the LA skyline. The reflective silver accent wall creates a fantastical, mirror-like atmosphere throughout.

The entry-level room at The Valorian still comes with a proper living space — unusual for a standard category. Crisp white with blue accents nodding to the LA sky. Floor-to-ceiling windows deliver views that guests in other hotels pay suite prices for.
