The Sun Rose is a 149-room luxury hotel occupying an entire block on the Sunset Strip, sitting right at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Olive Drive. It was the Pendry Hotel West Hollywood until rebranding in 2025, and before that the site of the original West Coast House of Blues. Interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio lean into deep ocean blues, brass accents, and mid-century Hollywood glamour without tipping into pastiche — the result is genuinely stylish and warmer than most LA hotels at this price point. The full package includes a rooftop pool and restaurant, a second-floor spa, a live music venue, and Wolfgang Puck-connected dining.
