Why It Matters
Named to Condé Nast Traveler's 2022 Hot List. Bermuda's first casino is on-site. The only Bermuda property offering full Marriott Bonvoy earning and redemption. Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed 18-hole Five Forts Golf Club wraps around historic military forts with ocean views from nearly every hole. Forbes Travel Guide Recommended 2026.
The St. Regis Bermuda is the island's newest five-star resort, opened on a dramatic stretch of coastline adjacent to Fort St. Catherine in the historic UNESCO World Heritage town of St. George. It sits on St. Catherine's Beach — one of Bermuda's most historically significant shores — and feels deliberately removed from the busier hotel strips near Hamilton. The architecture pays genuine homage to classic Bermudian cottages: white stepped roofs, pastel tones, and proportions that feel local rather than imported. Butler service, a twice-daily champagne sabering ritual, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course, and Bermuda's first casino round out a property that earns its five-star designation without breaking a sweat.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
Infinity-edge pool on the pool deck overlooking the ocean, reserved for adults. Luxury loungers and private cabanas available (cabanas at an additional charge).
Dedicated family swimming pool separate from the adults-only pool. Located on the pool amenity deck with direct event lawn access.
On-site whirlpool on the pool deck.
The St. Regis brand's signature afternoon tea tradition, held at The St. Regis Bar. Rooted in the hosting traditions of Caroline Astor in the 1800s. A proper mid-afternoon sit-down rather than just coffee and pastries.
A daily ceremony on the Great Hall Terrace at sunset, rooted in Napoleonic-era tradition. A butler opens a bottle of champagne with a saber — offered every evening. One of the St. Regis brand's most celebrated rituals, celebrated at properties worldwide.
Bermuda's first casino, housed on-site. Also the first casino at any St. Regis property brand-wide. No additional details on games or hours confirmed via official sources.
An 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., spanning 4,436 yards and named after the five historic forts that surround it. Starts near Fort Victoria and ends at Fort St. Catherine with ocean views from nearly every hole. GPS-enabled carts included. Open Mon–Wed 8 AM–5 PM, Thu–Sun 7 AM–6 PM. The course was reinstated from a former military green and is the only hotel-affiliated golf course in the immediate area.
The historic fort is literally steps from the hotel and free for hotel guests. Worth the short walk for the history and the views.
Achilles Bay is a 2-minute walk from the resort and consistently praised for exceptional snorkeling with parrot fish and vibrant coral in crystal-clear water.
The resort sits directly on St. Catherine's Beach (also known as Gates Bay), where Admiral Sir George Somers and the first British colonists landed in 1609. Semi-private feel with hotel beach setups. The snorkeling directly off the beach is excellent — parrot fish, coral, and turquoise clarity. Not the wide pink-sand expanse of Horseshoe Bay, but intimate and historically significant.
A dedicated play and activity space for younger guests. The Kids Club is unattended — parental supervision is required. Designed to engage children with unique amenities and enriching activities.
