Why It Matters
The only overnight accommodation directly at Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, which was named the World's Best Wellness Destination in 2026. It's the only place where you can wake up and walk straight to 31 geothermal pools before anyone else arrives. Restaurant Thyme has Karen Martini's fingerprints all over it. The property won a Victorian Tourism Silver Award for New Tourism Business in 2023.
The Sanctuary is the overnight accommodation arm of Alba Thermal Springs & Spa, a world-class 15-hectare wellness property on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Opened in June 2025, it puts five freestanding villas and two studio rooms at the highest point of the property, with sweeping views across the Peninsula to Port Phillip Bay. The whole thing is built around one idea: staying long enough to actually feel the restorative effects of the thermal springs — not just passing through.

One complimentary upgrade per stay to a private pool: The Terrace (garden-level private pool), The Salts (rooftop private salt pool), or The Clouds (rooftop geothermal pool). Additional upgrades available at extra cost.
