The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas
Ranch-meets-modern-luxury. Warm Texas earth tones, rustic-yet-refined finishes, and genuinely expansive grounds where you can hear the quiet. Big skies, golf course views from your patio, and a Michelin-starred chef's Italian steakhouse you didn't expect to find this close to DFW. The overall feel is unhurried and un-urban — a real departure from a downtown Dallas tower stay.
All Nelson Golf & Sports Club bookings (golf, tennis, pickleball, fitness classes) must go through hotel concierge — you can't book directly as a hotel guest
Why It Matters
The only Ritz-Carlton in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a genuine resort layout. The site has 40+ years of golf history, holds Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status, and features two 18-hole championship courses, a 20-treatment-room spa with cold plunge and steam, and over 80,000 square feet of meeting space. JLL called it one of the top three hotels in the Dallas metroplex post-renovation.
400 acres on a former Texas cattle ranch, 8 miles from DFW Airport. The property ran as the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas for nearly four decades before Trinity Investments and Partners Group acquired it in 2022 and put $55 million into a full renovation. The Ritz-Carlton rebrand went official on January 23, 2024. It's a low-rise resort — not a city tower — with 427 rooms, suites, and standalone villas spread across rolling Las Colinas terrain. Golf courses, three pools, a 14,000-square-foot spa, and four restaurants round out the picture.
