The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok
Contemporary Thai elegance meets grand international hotel. The lobby centers on a lily pond with hand-blown glass lotus flowers, and the feel throughout is more private residence than corporate tower — residential furniture groupings, curated objets d'art, and an almost hushed confidence.
Book a Lumpini Park View room: the standard city-skyline rooms are fine, but the park view is the whole point of being here
Why It Matters
The Ritz-Carlton's first urban hotel in Thailand, winner of a MICHELIN Key (2025), Forbes Four-Star Award (2026), and Condé Nast Traveler Top 10 Hotels in Bangkok 2025. Home to Duet by David Toutain — an intimate 32-seat French fine-dining restaurant helmed by a two-Michelin-star chef — and what is reportedly the largest hotel ballroom in Bangkok.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok opened in December 2024 as the brand's long-awaited debut in the Thai capital — a 216-metre tower rising above the One Bangkok development on Wireless Road, with front-row views of Lumpini Park. Designed by Chicago-based SOM alongside Thailand's A49 studio, the building's cascading terrace facade is guided by the concept of a 'Meeting of Two Civilisations', with PIA Studio interiors weaving marble, polished brass, and contemporary Thai artworks throughout. At 260 rooms and suites starting at 50 sqm, this is Bangkok luxury done with real scale and intention.
