Six connected late-19th-century Victorian row houses — once home to North Adams mill workers — that were lovingly restored and stitched together with sweeping front verandas to create a 47-room boutique inn directly across from MASS MoCA. The result is genuinely one of a kind: retro 1940s and '50s lamps, bungalow-style furnishings, slate-floored bathrooms with claw-foot tubs, and curated art around every corner. There's no on-site restaurant, but complimentary breakfast is included and the pool, sauna, and Studio 9 performance venue on campus make it easy to stay put.
