The Manner is a 97-room adults-only boutique hotel on a quiet stretch of Thompson Street in SoHo. It's the first concept from Standard International (now Hyatt) that completely breaks from the minimalist downtown playbook — think jewel-tone velvet, red lacquer, crystal chandeliers, and midcentury murals, all curated by Milan-based architect Hannes Peer. There are no TVs in the rooms. Instead, you get a resident personal host, complimentary breakfast and aperitivo hours in the guests-only Apartment lounge, and one of the moodiest cocktail bars in the city.

A two-level penthouse on floors 12–13 inspired by Halston's monochromatic Olympic Tower offices — so: bold red lacquer, chrome dining room, double-height windows, and an oversized mirror. The 868 sq ft interior is paired with a 407 sq ft wraparound terrace (sunbeds, outdoor dining table, skyline views including the Empire State Building). Includes a travertine fireplace, appointed kitchenette with dry bar, two marble bathrooms, and custom artwork by Rory A. Jones. Available by inquiry only — not on the standard booking engine.

King Bed
The entry-level room. At 220 sq ft, it's compact by any standard — but the design work makes it feel intentional rather than cramped. Expect full-length mirrored walls, a jewel-tone palette, an integrated Dampf audio system, marble bathroom with Costa Brazil amenities, and a curated shelf of books in lieu of a TV.
KingKing Bed Corner Room
Corner configuration at 280 sq ft brings dual exposures and more natural light. Great for those who want a little more breathing room without jumping to suite pricing.
KingKing Bed Corner Room Deluxe
The most popular non-suite option at 320 sq ft. East-facing corner with a dedicated seating area. Handcrafted finishes, lacquered headboard, velvet couch beneath a Hannes Peer-designed glass chandelier — this is what sold The Points Guy reviewer on the hotel.
KingKing Bed Deluxe
A step up in space at 250 sq ft, with the same warm color palette, mirrored walls, and marble bathroom. Slightly more room to breathe.
KingKing Bed Studio Suite
450 sq ft of proper living space — this is where The Manner really starts to sing. King bed, a separate living area, and the full design treatment. Eligible for the Suite Offer (Personal Host, dinner for two at The Otter, 4 PM late checkout, Dorso sleepwear).
KingKing Bed Studio Suite Deluxe
At 750 sq ft, this is the largest standard suite. Generous living and sleeping zones with the full midcentury design program. Strong candidate for a NYC splurge that doesn't require booking a full penthouse.
