Why It Matters
One of the hotel deals that legitimized Koreatown as a destination for design-minded travelers. The dining program is exceptional — Michelin-starred Chef Josiah Citrin runs Openaire, and the Houston Brothers (Mark and Jonnie) created two of LA's most fun bars on property. The Speek Suite alone is a conversation piece.
The LINE LA is a brutalist modernist tower on Wilshire Boulevard that essentially put Koreatown on the hotel map. The bones of the building are all concrete and floor-to-ceiling glass, but the interiors are warm, creative, and deeply rooted in the neighborhood. Public spaces do a lot of the heavy lifting here — five distinct food and drink venues, a rooftop pool, and a curated events calendar mean there's always something worth stepping out of your room for.

A corner studio at 340 square feet — slightly larger than the standard king and positioned at the corner of the building for diagonal views of either Hollywood Hills or Koreatown. The corner placement gives you two walls of glass, which makes the space feel bigger than the numbers suggest.

At 860 square feet this is serious real estate. Private bedroom with a California king, a full separate living room, wet bar, freestanding soaking tub and walk-in shower, city views in every direction. The freestanding tub is the kind of thing you actually use here.
