The Dominick
Contemporary luxury with a downtown-art-world edge. The lobby references mid-century modernism with rich woodwork and natural stone. Rooms are calm, spacious, and residential. The hotel takes its art program seriously — Paul Richard's commissioned drip paintings and a rotating 'Street Art Suite' keep things from feeling sterile.
SoHi One-Bedroom Suites on the upper floors are among the most-requested — book with views of the Empire State Building or One World Trade Center
Why It Matters
Only independent AAA Five-Diamond hotel in NYC. Only Five-Diamond hotel in SoHo. 391 rooms starting at 425 sq ft — genuinely large by Manhattan standards. Bi-level Sisley Spa is one of only two in Manhattan with private hammams. The SoHi 46th-floor venue has 13-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides.
The Dominick is a 46-story glass tower rising sharply above SoHo's low-rise cast-iron streetscape — the kind of building you can see from blocks away. It's the only independent Five-Diamond hotel in New York City and the only one in SoHo, which makes it a genuine outlier in the neighborhood. Inside, Rockwell Group designed the spaces and Fendi Casa furnished all 391 guest rooms, giving everything a sleek residential warmth that avoids feeling corporate.
