Why It Matters
One of very few genuinely working agricultural estates in Sicily that also operates as a boutique hotel. Selected by both the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. The Comfort Zone spa menu is surprisingly comprehensive for a 10-room property.
A 19th-century walled farm estate — a 'baglio' in Sicilian tradition — sitting on nine hectares of vineyards and centuries-old olive groves in northwestern Sicily. The historic stone buildings were carefully restored into ten suites, keeping exposed walls that cool things naturally in summer and pairing them with modern design fireplaces for winter. This is still a working agricultural estate: the grapes that grow outside your window become organic wines you can taste on-site.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Guided bicycle tour through the estate's vineyard rows and surrounding Alcamo hills, through sun-exposed rows and Mediterranean-scented landscape.
Learn traditional Sicilian recipes in the farmhouse kitchen alongside on-site chefs. Past guests have learned to make pasta from scratch and worked through multiple courses of classic Sicilian cuisine. It's an intimate, hands-on session led by the estate's own team including chef Guido. Consistently rated the single best activity by guests. Note: the dining room is only open to those booked into this experience.
Guided tastings of the estate's own organic wines: Alcamo Bianco (a late-harvest native variety with noble rot character), Grillo, Zibibbo (dry), Nero d'Avola, Syrah, and Catarratto. Wines are produced on the nine-hectare estate and are the real deal — not sourced from elsewhere.
Walking tour through the estate's vineyards and olive groves, learning about the agricultural traditions of rural Sicily and the cultivation of heritage grape varieties like Alcamo Bianco. Also offered by bike.
