Tenuta Le Tre Virtù
Rustic Tuscan farmhouse with genuine luxury touches. Organic, slow, intimate. Think well-traveled owners who care obsessively about every detail — no TVs, but every room has its own color story, fragrance, and handcrafted ceramics.
No TVs in rooms — intentional. The window views are the entertainment.
Why It Matters
One of the very few agriturismi in Italy where the on-site restaurant holds a Michelin star AND a Michelin Green Star for sustainable gastronomy. The estate itself is certified organic, with its own vineyard (first harvest 2023), vegetable garden, and ancient fruit trees supplying the kitchen.
A restored 1700s Tuscan farmhouse in the Mugello valley, about 30 minutes north of Florence. Owners Valentina and Christian found this abandoned hamlet in 2010 and spent years renovating it with materials sourced from local monasteries and farms — ancient wooden beams, handcrafted majolica, wrought iron. Seven individually designed suites, each named and scented differently. But the real headline is the on-site Virtuoso Gourmet, a Michelin one-star (and Green Star) restaurant under chef Antonello Sardi, which draws diners from Florence and beyond.
